How to NOT display quarters with no values

Hi All

Maybe this is a newbie question but I cannot find the answer anywhere.

We have this chart with the items sold by region, grouped by quarters

How can I remove the quarters with no sales from the chart? So 2019 & 2020 would only have 1 column.

I didn't find a way to hide y-axis = BLANK() in small multiplots, for small multiplots, he is mainly used to clone grouped data showing different categories.And there are limitations for this function:

Have you enabled "Show items with no data" in the field (down arrow in the field well)? Toggle this off to suppress items with no data.

Is it possible that your data contains offsetting amounts such that the result is 0 or fractional cents? If so, you may need to modify your measure to return blank if the amount is 0 or rounds to 0.

The Y-axis is a record Count field, no decimal impact there.

We would like the same way we get in in Domo:

In your screenshot, "Show items with no data" is enabled (checked). You need to toggle this option off in order to suppress items with no data.

Are you using Small Multiples? This may be the default behavior (not sure if it can be overridden).

You can try adding Year to the hierarchy in the X-axis and expand (drill) down to the Quarter level:
