I have PBI Desktop from March 2023.
When I make a table and drag a numeric field to it, by default PBI sums the numeric field. This makes the value in every row incorrect. So a Fiscal Year that should be 2022 comes out 50555.
How do I turn off this auto-sum feature? It's pretty annoying.
Thanks.

Hi @croberts21 ,
Sorry, this feature is not available in Power BI at the moment
You can find it in the model view.
Use ctrl key to select multiple columns.
Advanced - Summarize by -- Nonez to set the operation summary. Afterwards, reposition the columns in Visual, which saves a lot of time compared to row-by-row.
You can also submit an idea for it at https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums。
And here are the same similar Idea information for you to see:Microsoft Idea (powerbi.com)

Liu Yang
