How to Dynamically Filter Agent Names Based on Selected Division in Power BI?
Hi,
I am working on a Power BI report where I have connected to SQL Server with 2 tables:
1. ag2_subhour - Contains agent details (including Agent Name and DivisionID).
2. division - Contains division details (DivisionID and Division Name).
I have joined these tables using a Left Outer Join on the DivisionID column.
In my report, I have created two slicers:
Division Name (from the division table).
Agent Name (from the ag2_subhour table).
I want the Agent Name slicer to dynamically update and show only the agents belonging to the selected Division Name in the other slicer. For example:
If "Billing" is selected in the Division Name slicer, only agents from the "Billing" division should appear in the Agent Name slicer.
Similarly, if "Collections" is selected, only agents from "Collections" should appear.
I have already established a relationship between the two tables in the data model, and the filters are working at a basic level. However, the Agent Name slicer does not update dynamically when a division is selected.
How can I configure this behavior in Power BI?
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

HI manoj_0911 ,
Can you please share a screenshot of how the relationship is established in your data model?
This could be just an issue of filter direction in your data model.
