How to Create section/Group in Paginated Report ( Report Builder)

Hi All, 

 

I have a question on Power BI Report Builder where I am trying to create a paginated report and I have a requirement as below.

Lets say I have a report output as below... table.

 

 

Now I want to convert above table group by Year Id and result would be as below in Paginated Report. Is it Possible? if Yes, how to achieve it.  Your help would be appreciated it.  Thank you.

    Hi Eyelyn, Thank you for replying my question. I will try to crate using slicer visual and let you know if I am abel to achive the result I wanted to. I will keep you posted. Thank you.

    Hi Patv ,

     

    Did you try to drag the Year ID column to a Slicer visual ? Slicers are a great choice when you want to:

    • Display commonly used or important filters on the report canvas for easier access.
    • Make it easier to see the current filtered state without having to open a drop-down list.
    • Filter by columns that are unneeded and hidden in the data tables.
    • Create more focused reports by putting slicers next to important visuals.

    Power BI slicers don't support:

    • Input fields
    • Drill-down options
