My Data Model consists of
1. Commercial Claims
2. Self Funded Claims
3. Medicare Claims
4. Date table
My Goal:
I want one slicer that has all health plans in it. Depending on the health plan(s) selected, new slicers are used to filter either based on one date field (Date A) or another date field (Date B).
My Data Model:
Note that the Date table is related to each of the other three tables either by Attestation Date or Date Paid.
How do I setup slicers to select one or more health plans from each of the three tables. If only Medicare is selected, I need to know how to then setup the slicer to use Attestation Date. If a Self Funded plan or plans are selected, how would I ensure that the slicer uses the Date Paid field instead? Can all this be accomplished to foster a straightforward user experience?
@schilders , if in same table you want to join with more than one date, then try active/inactive join and userelationship
