How to Control Visual Interaction from the Visuals

Hi,

I have four bar charts in a Report page, all are realted. Interaction type between them is filtering the data.

Now when I click on a value on one chart, all the other charts gets filter based on the selected value on the first chart.

This works fine.

But what i need is if we select the value in first chart, and then in the second chart which already got filtered , I want to select a value and expecting the last two charts to get filter based on the first chart selected value and also based on second chart selected value.

Where as what's happening is when we select a value in the second chart, first chart value gets deselected.

I have google and not found a solution for this , this looks to be the standard behaviour.

Can anyone help provide a solution for the requirement

dvnnnaidu works for me, what power bi version you are using.

in below screenshot I have selection from two visuals using ctrl+

  • dvnnnaidu you have to use ctrl when you do the 2nd selection and it will keep the first selection.

Dear parry2k , thanks for answer.

I have tried CTRL+ selection of values in the second chart, but had no luck.

It still deselects the value from the first chart
