How to Connect MongoDB with Power BI

Hi, I have been trying to connect MongoDB with power bi and followed all the instructions but still stuck on the part where we have to create the new DSN as I am not sure what to enter in TCP/IP box, I tried entering my MongoDB server IP and it didn't work. Can anyone tell me what are the required steps and CMD commands to make it work? And also I want to know if we have to run a set of commands in cmd before creating the new DSN in the ODBC connector, cause I am getting access control is not enabled for Mongosqld.

P.S. I do not know much about MongoDB. My current project requires me to pull the data from MongoDB.

Hello @Myworld2912 ,

You do not need to run cmd commands before creating the new DSN in the ODBC connector. You can determine whether your PowerBI version is 32-bit or 64-bit. Then download + install the corresponding 15-day free trial of the DataDirect ODBC driver for MongoDB.

Navigate to the Progress DataDirect for ODBC Installation directory and click ODBC Administrator. Click User or System DSN and click Add, see More Details:MongoDB ODBC Driver for Data Integration with Power BI.
