How to Clear the Filter in PBI Desktop

Hi All

I have tried to clear all the filter in my power BI Desktop Report  by clearing the small eraser icon located on the filter tab. However, I cannot get rid of one of the filters applied on column Named EWR_L0 = D Fox which has 19 rows.

I have attempted below stepsFilters P.jpg

I have refreshed the data in the model

Open up Power Query Editor and removed APPLIED FILTER step.

My report has 12,541 rows but its only showing 19 rows because of the applied filter. (see the attached image) How do I remove the filter from the above column. The column simply shows no filters applied. However, when I go back to the table tab in PBI Desktop I can see the column named EWR_L0 has been filtered to the value = D Fox which has 19 rows.

Any help on this is highly appreciated.

Hi @smjzahid

1. If you apply a filter in Power Query Editor, after delete the applied step,

if you click on "close" then return to "data model" view, it will show as below, to make your change in Power Query Editor work, please click on "apply changes".

2. if you apply a filter in the "Data model" view,

"clear filter" will clear the filter added for this column, "clear all filters" will clear all filters for all columns.

3. if you add a filter in the "report level filter",

please clear the filter in the "report level filter"
