Think of doing an injury dashboard that shows number of injuries that occurred in a particular part of the body. If I select the HEAD, then various information around head injuries shows up in the rest of the dashboard.

could you explain it breifly?
You can't upload your own shape files to PowerBI, that feature is available in SQL Server Reporting Services and Datazen.
I am hoping that this will get MSFT enhancing PowerBI. Datazen also has it's limitations and yes, SSRS is an option. I would like to see PoweRBI evolve to be more competitive to a Tableau in ability and completeness. We lose customers to Tableau because of these limitations.
MSFT, please add these options into your PowerBI product. IT is taking too long for these sorts of enhancements to come into play and customers are not going to sit around waiting for the "one day it may make it into the product".
