How do you insert your visuals into word?

Personally, I take a screenshot with a software and insert the picture into Word. Actually inside Word, the graphs look great but when I save it as a PDF they are blurry. I already tried setting high-res for pictures in Word so I don't know what to do. If you do this in a more effective way it would be great to see it.
