How do you change the data label number format in Power BI Charts?

Changing the type of data in a measure? for example, the number format that is showing up in my chart as a whole but need it to be displayed as currency or percentage "%"

Select your measure and then change the data type in the ribbon above where the measure is written in the Formatting group. See image.percentage.JPG
