Hi Guys,
I wanna analyse network traffic recieved through a PCAP file from wireshark on power BI , thereby showing stunning visuals and anayse net traffic at the same time. All help is highly appreciated
In wireshark add all the columns of interest remove any columns you don't need for analysis.
as mentioned before you can export them as a csv and then import them.
Tshark will also work and keep the columns you previously chose.
My fav is tshark with a reasonable ring buffer in a specific directory and using power bi to ingest.
it can take bit to set up but it is worth it
Hi @Anonymous ,
In power bi desktop, you cannot import .pcap files directly. However, you can convert .pcap files into .csv file or .txt file and then try to import it into power bi desktop.
Best Regards,
Yingjie Li
