One one page of a dashboard, I have two buttons that point to bookmarks that change between two different chart views. These chart views is a bunch of different visualizations, text boxes, matrixes, lines, etc. When I change between them, it resets any slicers set (e.g. age, country, month). I want to find a way of changing between them and keeping the current slice.
I have tried de-selecting 'Data' in the bookmark options, which seems to work, but one of the matrixes seems to break (it seems to no longer filter out all options except one like it used to). I have also tried selecting only the relevant visuals for each book mark, checking 'Selected visuals' in the bookmark options, and then updating the bookmarks, but the bookmarked chartviews seem to just overlay eachother rather than completely replacing eachother when I switch between them.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks 🙂

EDIT - SOLVED
-----------------------------------------------------
When I deselected data and updated the bookmarks, it was resetting the filters on the matrixes in question (but none of the other matrixes? which makes me think it might be to do with those filters being hidden or something). I just put the filters back in and it works.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Deselecting 'Data' is the correct option.
Just make sure you right click and choose 'Update' after doing this. Make sure you have the appropriate visuals hidden when you update each bookmark.
(Bookmarks are annoying to work with)

Hi @Loubot3000 ,
You don't need to update all bookmarks. Only updating the bookmark from which you want slicers not to be driven would do.

I tried what you said, deselecting data and updating each bookmark, and while it does solve the problem of keeping the slices the same, one of the matrixes which normally has a 'top 1' filter on it doesn't seem to be filtering anymore, so it just messily overlays the matrix below it.

No I mean that is what I did and it didn't work.
But I've resolved it now anyway. When I deselected data and updated the bookmarks, it was resetting the filters on the matrixes in question (but none of the other matrixes? which makes me think it might be to do with those filters being hidden or something).
