How do I raise a bug I have found in desktop?
I have been on your Pro support page, but none of the issue types seem relevant to this problem.
Solved! Go to Solution.
@mark_endicott I use the Issues forum to report bugs.
Any chance you could share the bug, for the benefit of the community?

@mark_endicott Issues forum. You could check the Issues forum here:

And if it is not there, then you could post it.
If you have Pro account you could try to open a support ticket. If you have a Pro account it is free. Go to https://support.powerbi.com. Scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET".
@Greg_Deckler - thanks, but there is absolutely nothing on the Pro Support page to register bugs with the Desktop UI.
Not that I could see anyway
@mark_endicott I use the Issues forum to report bugs.
@Greg_Deckler - What do you do when someone from Community Support (they have msft in their user name) has requested more info, you have provided it & they do not respond any futher?
This defect is holding up development.
@mark_endicott What is the link to the Issue? Maybe we can vote on it and get it a higher priority.
@mark_endicott Voted for. Although, perhaps the answer is, get the name of your parameter right the first time. 🙂
@Greg_Deckler - Thanks!
It's actually not as simple as a naming issue, I noticed this issue with desktop when trying to remove some parameter binding configuration from the server so that I can use the column for advanced filtering. Microsoft are on the verge of acknoledging I've identified a defect on the server where the parameter metadata is not fully removed when you un-bind a column.
In the meantime I was trying everything I could to remove the parameter metadata from the column on the server (rename parameter & publish through the XMLA endpoint, delete parameter & publish through the XMLA endpoint) and stumbled across this defect in desktop too.
