Hi Everyone,
I am using Advanced Gantt Chart by Definitive Logic on Power BI.
When a Phase and Milestone gantt chart is created using that view, the data labels are set for some on left and other on right. I want to place all lebels either to left or to right or center.
Is there a way to do that ?
Currently, in formatting options I do not find any option for placement data labels after enabling them on Gantt Chart.
Attached is the screenshot with dummy data and data labels (highlighted) which are placed by default to left, right and center.
Hi @krutikapai,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community.
The Advanced Gantt Chart by definitive logic, the data label placement like left, right or center is automatically handled by the visual depending on space and layout. unfortunately, there is currently no built in setting in the visual’s formatting pane to manually control or fix the label alignment.
Since you are already using the Advanced Gantt by Definitive Logic, I request you to please submit a feature request a detailed feedback and ideas through Microsoft's official feedback channels or upvote the existing ones. Feedback submitted through these channels is frequently reviewed by the product teams and can contribute to meaningful improvements.

Thank you for the feedback.
Like you mentioned, I have submitted a feature request on Microsoft Fabric Community.

Thank you.
Hi @krutikapai I don’t think the Gantt chart has a built-in option to align all data labels uniformly. You could try customizing it with a measure to control the label position dynamically or creating a custom chart using Python or R in Power BI for more control. You could also check this in AppSource visuals
Thank you Akash.
Yes I am going to try creating a measure and see if that works out.
Meantime, I have also submitted a feature request on Microsoft Fabric Community for the data label positioning option.
