I'm trying to add currency on my card visualization but it's not working. I went through some articles on line that directed me to the modeling tab and format but mine is showing something completely different from theirs.
Please how can I put the currency?

@Joyclyn let me guide you there. First : The value of your kpi window, is it a measure or a column with the Σ symbol ?
Either way don't click on the kpi windows, click on the measure or the column which is responsible for your KPI value. Afterwards you will see that your ribbon on top will change:
When you use datatype number you can also use currency symbol.

@Joyclyn first click on your column on the right side, e.g. "Sales" column. I think you cannot see it because you marked the visual, but you need to mark the column or the measure what stands for that value. Then click on column tab which you can find on the ribbon on top, where you can normally change data type. Please make sure that this column is not a text datatype but rather a integer or decimal. And then you would also have a currency options, then click on the dollar sign.
Hope it helps.
Please can you show your explanation in pictures?
