How do I import a table from one Power BI document to a second Power BI document?

I have two separate documents into which I pulled data from excel files.  I want to pull one of the tables from the second document to the first document.  Is there a way to do this in Power BI?

    Hey,

     

    I do not fully understand what you mean by Power Bi document.

    I assume your are talking about a Power BI file, that exists locally on your computer / file storage with the suffix pbix.

     

    Just copy the query code, use "Advanced Editor" from within the Query Editor in the view menu in the Query ribbon.

    Paste the code insides a "new blank query" and your done.

     

    Currently this is the only option I can recommend, this will maybe change if the preview feature "Composite" model will also support the connection to published (to the Power BI Service).
