How do I exclude rows from another table in my measure?

Hi all, 

 

Trying to create a measure and I'm not clear how to add an exclusion. I've had to run 3 different excel / BEX reports due to volume constraints and linked them in PBI. 

 

I want to sum a column (X) on report A but exclude values based on results in a column (Y) from report B. 

 

I don't understand PBI well enough to explain this, so I'll do it in the context of excel. I need the following:

 

Sumif( sum of column X, column Y, "<>0")

 

is this possible?

    aredmond127 , if table are related

    calculate(Sum(Table[column X, Filter( Table2, Table2[column Y] <>0) )

     

    If this does not help
    Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.
