How do I ensure I have the new updates?

The April 2024 update has version number v: 2.128.751.0 where the version number on my PBI Desktop has version number Version: 2.129.1229.0 64-bit (May 2024). Presuably that means that my PBI Desktop is up to date.

However the features that are covered in the April Update like the Matrix stuff arent available in my local version. Is that becasue they get rolled out gradually?

@Walt1010 Maybe preview features? You have to enable those individually.

Thanks for the reply from Greg_Deckler . Greg_Deckler is right, you can check whether the update you want to use is a preview feature.

I have something else to add.

After Power BI Desktop is updated, the updated features may be delayed.
