How do I add a link to a shared network drive folder in Power BI?
Hi, I know Power BI Desktop can use buttons with hyperlinks attached to link to a web page but I also need to be able to link to a shared network drive folder, as well some other individual files...

Finally, I found a solution for this issue.
1. Provide security access to the user(s) for the file/folder.
- Right click the file > properties > Security > Edit > Add > For ex. "Domain User"
2. Open browser and enter following link in the address bar.
- http:\\'Server-name'\'filename.extension'
- Assume that server name is "SERVER123" and file name is "Power BI.pdf"
- http:\\SERVER123\power bi.pdf
- Note: There is a space between the filename, you must insert space also
3. Copy the link into your button in power bi
4. Done
