How could I set up credentials and make it required every time I open the dashboard?

I want to set up credenitals and make it required every time any one open it.

Is there a way for me to do that?

Is it same as gateway? I saw gateway is for Power BI service, but I want to set up credentials for Power BI destop.

Hey,

it's not possible to enforce authentication using Power BI Desktop.

Authentication is only necessary to connect to content that is shared with users using Power BI Service.

It's possible to distrbitue Power BI template files, these files will ask the user to authenticate, but only if the data is not enclosed in the pbit file (the suffix of Power BI template files).
