How can i show "data not available" or some custom msg instead of showing empty chart when no data

How can i show "data not available" or some custom message  instead of showing empty chart when there is no data

Hi @suji,

 

Currently, power bi visuals not contain this feature, perhaps you can try to use below method which used to check if the table is empty.(IsEmpty function)

 

Measure:

 

IsEmpty = IF(ISEMPTY('test color'),"This table is empty","This table contains records")

 

Result:

 Capture.PNGCapture2.PNG

 

In addition, you can also post this requirement to ideas.

Is this solution also valid for a chart?

I have a chart that only displays no data with some slicers options, I would like to have the message displayed in this case.

 

I've created the measure:

 

IsEmpty = IF(ISEMPTY('sheet1'),"This table is empty")

 

I'm not sure if this is valid and where to added it on the chart.

 

Can, please, someone help me?
