How can i hide Column/measure in a Table

Hi All,   Can we hide a column / measure in a Table . Basically, I want to show only first 5 column on report , but when the user Export .csv , all the hidden column/measure should also be visible...

vijayashanti In power bi desktop you can right-click your column / columns and click Hide and that will hide it from the report. When that report is published to power bi service you won't see that field and also when you export as csv from the visual you won't get that field.

Our requirement is like, we should get that hidden field in CSV file.

    Hi vijayashanti,

     

    Currently, there is no such a functionally to allow us hiding column in a table visual. As ankitpatira said, if you hide it in source table, then the column is unavailable when exporting to CSV.  So currently, I am afraid your requirement cannot be done.

     

    If you have any concern on this feature, you can submit your idea on the link below. If this feature was mentioned by mulitple users, product team will consider to add this feature to next release.
