How can i create relationship between two differt tables from 2 data sources

Hi there,

 

I am new to power bi please guide me to achieve this.

I connected 2 datasources quick book online and sql and i pulled out tables also but to create relationship between the tables which is complicated form me.

I tried by merge both but the result or values are not matching, it is showing is  not correct.

Any suggesstions and guidance some one please help me.

    ramie Super difficult to say without showing us some sample data. Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?

    The most important parts are:
    1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
    2. Expected output from sample data
    3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.

      Hi Greg_Deckler ,

      I already searched in the forum but not found anything. In simple terms i have 2 tables from 2 different datasources. I tried to create relationship between those 2 tables using append in power query  but not happend, values are not matched correctly.

      2 tables have 1 same cloumn but values or description might not same, i applied split function to make the column similar but finally data missmatching is happend.

      if not clear let me know

      Please i need help on this.
