How can i add DAX in a slicer

Hello All,

I have a query regarding a slicer,

I have made a DAX for the stock category for 2 manufacturing plants differently and then clubbed it into a new DAX. now I want to filter my dashboard based on categories but I am unable to add it in slicer or filters on this page. kindly share the solution for this with an example.

Hey @Ruchika_30 ,

regarding the level of information you provided (almost nothing), providing guidance is very difficult.

Measures, can not be added to slicers or filters.

Calculated columns can be added to slicers or filters, but one has to be aware of the fact, that calculated columns will only be reevaluated during data refresh, and not on slicer/filter change.
