Hello, evetybody,
How can I rename a measure only in graphics?
The Chef insists on the correct display of names. I use this measure in different graphs and formulas and can not rename it ..
Solved! Go to Solution.
You can add a dummy measure that does nothing but run the first measure.
Friendly Measure Name = [measure name your boss doesn't like]
))))
I will have to do a lot of fictitious measures. But if this is the only option - it's a solution. Thank you!

Hi @OlgaUA,
For renaming a measure name, we can double click the measure, and type your desired name. Please see the following screenshot. After you rename it, all measure in fields will change correspondingly.
If you wang just rename one name displayed on one picture, not rename other related fields, please use the solution @Anonymous posted.
Best Regards,
Angelia
Hello everyone.
In later releases, you are able to click on the measure name in the values field and rename it from there. This will only update the measure name in the visual, and not in fields pane.

Correct. If you want to rename it in the data model itself, just double click on the measure in the fields list and rename it there. That will rename it everywhere.
Note though that if you're using a master dataset file and connecting other reports to it, doing this will cause those reports to lose the original measure. You'll have to go back through those attached reports and fix them afterward.
