How can I move a date slicer sliders based on current the current date?

I have a simple slicer shown below.

What I am trying to do is move the slider to the current date but not the minimum date. I still want the users to be able to go back as far as the data allows but when opened I want it to show the minimum as the current date.

Example;

If todays date was the 11/07/2021 I would like the slider to look like this when the dashboard is first opened.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Hi @Anonymous ,

If the previous date didn't work for you, you can recreate the date column by doing the following and the initial date will show the date of the day.

Table = CALENDAR(TODAY(),MAX(Test[Date]))

If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information and let me know immediately. Looking forward to your reply.

Best Regards,
Henry

Hey @Anonymous ,

unfortunately that is not possible at the moment.

But you can add that as an idea and maybe the feature will be included in one of the next updates:

If you need any help please let me know.
If I answered your question I would be happy if you could mark my post as a solution ✔️ and give it a thumbs up 👍
