I have a map of our metro area and I want to get a count of employees in each zip code, then I want to pick a spot on the map and draw the circle out to get a count of the employees inside that circle. I figured out how to use the drive time selector to draw a circle from a particular spot, but it doesn't give me the count of employees inside that circle.
Hi @jonnythefist ,
What type of visualization are you using?
If you add a card visualization to your report then if the interactions are active when you select data on the map it will return the selected values count on the card.

Check out my blog: Power BI em PortuguêsMFelix...I figured it out, so thank you. However, I am having trouble with the City and State not showing properly. For example, Sherwood Oregon is showing on the map as Sherwood Arkansas, even though the employee is in Oregon. The City and State are separate fields. How do I get the map to show the right city?
Hi jonnythelist,
How did you get that count to appear (assuming within a data point circle) I can see it if I hover but can't figure out how to show it on either Galigeo, ArcGIS nor Icon Map. Any hints are most welcome, thanks in advance.
Hi @Amy333 ,
What do you mean by showing the value?

Check out my blog: Power BI em PortuguêsThe dots I have on the map will aggregate number of records in that geo area (in my case, region represented by a dot in approximate middle of country or region (Latin America isn't working properly yet) anyway, I'd love it if the count could show up inside the circles instead of just on the hover. Is there any way to put a label with a number on it in the middle of the circle? It would help in going to a proper drillthrough page. I need to get my hands on that number, inside the map to display it and ideally outside of the map so I can display correct drill through button.
Hi @jonnythefist ,
Be sure to selected the correct categorization type for each column on the format of the column settings:
Play around with country, place, state and see what is the correct one.

Check out my blog: Power BI em PortuguêsI am using the ArcGIS map. I added the Card visualization as you suggested, but I do not know how to select an area on the map and have the card return a count of the employees within that selection. I'm a novice at this, so would appreciate more detailed instructions. Thanks.
did you get an answer to this?
