How can I access Azure Stream Analytics with PBI Desktop

Hi, everyone. 

 

Has this capability become available yet? I know the service can access the SA feed, but I want to be able to bring it into desktop. Any update would be most welcomed.

    Not aware of a way to bring it into the Desktop unless you can do an R call or M call to some Stream Analytics endpoint. And even then, not sure how it would automatically refresh like in the Service.

    Hi systamper,

     

    Currently there is no updates on this topic. I also find an idea submitted at the Azure Stream Analytics idea forum:

    Stream into existing Power BI Datasets

    In addition, if some filters are considered into building the report, we may take use of Q&A part, and then pin the result to dashboard.
