Hospital Bed Occupancy by Unit Calculation
I am looking for help on creating a dashboard on Hospital Bed Occupancy however, the number of funded hospital beds changes periodically and our occupancy is calculated by patient days (length of patient stay)/bed days. Bed Days calculation is your date_day sum/sum of funded beds
Our "# of funded Beds" changed/changes and we currently use an excel spreadsheet in the dashboard to link our patient days to our number of funded beds (see example below for a break down of # of funded beds) based on "Hospital Unit" and "Beds".
Is there a way to have the changing number of beds calculate into the occupancy if it changes in the Power BI Dashboard?

Hi Anonymous
Please provide sample data that fully covers your problem and describe the expected result, if possible it is best to share your pbix file (remove sensitive data).
