Horizontal Slicer Font Size not working

I am using Power BI Desktop, February 2022 update with the new formatting layout enabled. When I create a horizontal slicer, I see no effect when changing the font size of the values. I can change the text colour, set Bold, Italic and Underline, and change the background colour of non-selected items.  But when I increase the font size, nothing happens in the slicer.  The setting shows the larger font size, but the actual font in the slicer button remains at 10 point.

  • Hi CJSquibb

    Please try this option

    If not solved, as amitchandak told, you can change setting and use old format pane. Please keep posted

  • Either this has been fixed (now on the July 22 update) or it might be because I hadn't sized the slicer with enough space to display the larger font.  Either way, it now works fine. Thanks!

  • CJSquibb , Some option names have changed and re-categoried. Few are missing.

    As a workaround. You can disable the new format pane from

    File-> options & setting -> Option -> preview feature

  • Thanks amitchandak , so it is a bug ATM. I appreciate that this is still in Preview, but want to use this going forward as it is going to be so much better than the old version. I think I can live with it for now, but just wanted to ensure that the team is aware that it will need fixing.
