Horizontal Radio Button
Hi Everyone,
Thanks in advance.
I want to have a radio button in a horizontal way. I want the items to be on the sides.
So, I dragged and droped a slicer. Then I switched on the "Single select" from the "Selection controls". After that I changed the "Orientation" from "Vertical" to "Horizontal", from the "General".
And as soon as I changed the "Orientation" from "Vertical" to "Horizontal", the slicer turns into buttons.
But I don't want any buttons. I want the UI in the form of "Horizontal Radio Button".
Can anyone tell me how this can be achieved in Power BI?

avinaash I'm not sure what you mean by wanting the items to be on the sides? But as soon as you change orientation to horizontal it uses buttons - no way to have radio buttions all in the same row if that's what you're looking for. There may be a slicer in the custom visual marketplace that gets you closer to what you want?

Hi avinaash
Currently this is not able to be achieved in Power BI. When selecting Horizontal Orientation for a slicer, it displays in button layout by design. You can create an idea about this feature at Ideas (powerbi.com) or vote for this similar idea: Microsoft Idea · Slicer horizontal check boxes are not coming.
Additionally, if you want to save space in a report canvas by using a slicer with horizontal orientation, you could try below custom visual Chiclet Slicer.
Items in this slicer can be more compact than a standard slicer.
