History table for a daily refreshed value in the last days

Hello all,
I have the following use case: it is possible to have a count in table (e.g: users) and the count to be automatically saved in another table (on a daily basis)? basically, want I want to achieve is to save daily counts (or sum) from table "users" in another table which is called "last refreshed". Please see below the example:

What I want to achieve is not to use another tool for that, everything needs to happen in PowerBI.

You could make a new table query in Power Query and do a group by date and distinctcount users?
