Historically keeping the data by date

Hi all,

I have an employee dataset to which I connect through API to our HR database.

The dataset is like the following:

Name	Department	Job Title
Joh Doe	Alfa team	Specialist
Jane Doe	Beta team	Junior Specialist

I want to store this data by date so that I can analyse the historical headcount changes etc.

I created a dimdate report but I am not able to create the required connection.

Can you please support me on this?

HI @Anonymous,

Nope, power bi not support cache history data, you need to export these records to external datasource then use power bi to get data.
