Hightlight Selected Row in Matrix

Hello all.

i cant seem to figure this out and it may not even be possible.

i want to conditionally format the row i selected in a table with a colour of my choice.

the only visual i can use is the table itself, with no other visuals to help.

i dont think selectedvalues, hasonevalue, isincope, or isfiltered will work because those are all based around row context and will always be true.
