Highlight weekend rows in matrix

I have a requirement to highlight weekend (WEEKDAY 1 and 7) rows as shown in this graphic.  I do have a condition set on the value and if there are any values entered into a weekend, the cell does highlight yellow.  However, with or without any value, I would like to have the row highlight yellow (or a light yellow).  Thanks for the informationScreenshot 2022-05-27 061433.png

Hi,

do this for each field you have added to your table visual:

Hi @guyatisk ,

Did you apply the date field to your matrix visual? If so, you can create the following measure.

Measure =
VAR _seldate =
    SELECTEDVALUE ( 'Table'[Date] )
RETURN
    IF ( WEEKDAY ( _seldate, 1 ) IN { 1, 7 }, "Yellow" )

Then, use the conditional format based on the above metric. You can refer to the official documentation below for details.

You can find the details in the attachment. If the above one can't help you get the desired result, please provide some sample data in your tables (exclude sensitive data) with Text format and your expected result with backend logic and special examples. It is better if you can share a simplified pbix file. You can refer the following link to upload the file to the community. Thank you.
