Don't know if you still need it but i figured out a bit of a cheat; if you "highlight" text by inserting a rectangle shape with the color fill of your desire, size the rectangle to cover the text you want highlighted, then cut the text box and paste it back (now text will be on top of color recatngle, (depending on your highlight color and color of your text, you'll need toggle with transparency)

Hope this helps;

Currently, there is no other ways other than Conditional Formatting. There is a workaround regards to use conditional formatting on Text field: https://exceleratorbi.com.au/conditional-formatting-with-a-text-field-in-power-bi/

You could also vote up the idea of using conditional formating on specifc text.

I think i figured it out, buy creating a calculated coloumnt, with if condition and then used a conditional formatting with those values

& it worked like a charm

you can do this conditional formatting, you will need to set up a rule, and you might need to do calculation first, are both these values in the same table?

i checked for conditional formatting, we cannot do it i think, because conditional formatting is aplicable for numbers or %, not for text

can you let me know, whats your idea of doing it?
