Hello all,
Having issues trying to conditional format an entire row in table visual. Would like to highlight the current month's row. In everything I read this is not an available feature yet.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Can you check if the measure is working? Tip: In your table visual, you can drag the measure and see if the data is showing correctly. I.e., the color name.
Also share the screenshot of yours where it is greyed out ...
You did NOT provide any sample file. Try this and see if it works:
a) Say, you want the background color value as "Yellow" for current month
Create measure for highlighting cell
Tweak the measure by changing the _selMonth variable to your actual column. I am checking to see if both are equal, say "February" is today's month and then set the color as "Yellow".
b) In your table, matrix, configure the conditional formatting on each cell.
Two ways to set it, first is using format your visual
second using, right click of each column
and then set as below:
Repeat for all the columns in the table visualization.
Unfortunately, we cannot set for the whole row. we have to set individual cells.
Hope this helps!
Awesome solution and exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for posting.
Glad to hear 🙂
After I add the measure and go into
I am unable to click the measure (greyed out)
