Highlight a specific map area

Dear Power BI Community,

I have built a map and I would like to manually highlight a specific map area. I am using the "shapes" functionality and I would like the shape to be locked with a map view. When I zoom-in/ zoom-out I would like the area to resize following the map view, instead of having the same size.

Thank you in advanced for your help.

    Hi AlejandroD

Unfortunerlt No, There is no other option where you can highlight the specific area that auto resize in shape  when you zoom in zoom out.

But you can try these map from Appsource. Here you can adjust the color and different size of dots.

I hope I answered you question! Please give kudos and accept it as asolution!

    Hi AlejandroD
Unfortunetly, your shape size cant be resize according to you map zoom in and out feature. It will be a fixed size width and height.

  • Hello, thank you for your very quick answer. Do you know if there is any other alternative for highlighting a specific map area instead of using the shapes?
