I have a table that contains a hierarchy and is controlled by a slicer. I want the hierarchy to be at the lowest level of detail by default. The challenge I'm facing is when I change the slicer selection, the hierarchy goes back to the highest level. How can I make it stay at the lowest level when the slicer selection get changed?

I figured it out! I changed the visual from Matrix to Table and the hierarchy drill down went away!

Hi @TheLearner1 ,
I create a table as you mentioned.
Then I create a Measure and here is the DAX code.
Measure =
SWITCH (
TRUE (),
ISFILTERED ( Table1[Level3] ), CONCATENATEX ( VALUES ( Table1[Level3] ), [Level3], "," ),
ISFILTERED ( Table1[Level2] ), CONCATENATEX ( VALUES ( Table1[Level2] ), [Level2], "," ),
ISFILTERED ( Table1[Level1] ), CONCATENATEX ( VALUES ( Table1[Level1] ), [Level1], "," )
)
Finally you will get what you want.
Best Regards

This doesn't work. I think you misunderstood the question. I have a matrix visual that contains a hierarchy and the visual is controlled by a slicer. Everytime a different value is selected in the slicer, the visual goes back to the highest level. I want the visual to be drilled down to the lowest level by default as the users flip between the options in the slicer.
Allow users to store their filter choices.
Users will want to switch between the different filter choices.
