Currently Power Bi allows me to have a hierarchy of fecchas with:
Year, quarter, month, day.
I need to include "Weeks"
It's possible?
If so, how?
Should allow me to use the PowerBi forecast by weeks
Thank you for your answer Clara @Syndicate_Admin
I understand that way of creating hierarchies. My problem lies in the fact that when I build the board, I need it to recognize "weeks" as continuous and I only have it as categorical. This prevents me from using PowerBi's Forecast feature.
This is how I am building the calendar table
I built the hierarchy as you tell me
The table does not recognize me with the order you tell me or that you show in the photo.
It's as if it doesn't recognize data in an orderly manner. This may be due to the error, how can I fix this?
Hi @Syndicate_Admin ,
I'm using a matrix visual object in the example, not a table visual object. The matrix visual is similar to a table. A table supports two dimensions and the data is flat, meaning duplicate values are displayed and not aggregated. A matrix makes it easier to display data meaningfully across multiple dimensions--it supports a stepped layout. The matrix automatically aggregates the data and enables you to drill down.
Also, you can change the sorting of the month names in the table view if you want the months to be displayed in the visual object in order from 1 to 12.
I don't know if I have fully understood your question, but if I have misunderstood your question, I hope you will be able to provide a more detailed explanation so that we can better help you with your problem.
Best Regards,
Clara Gong

Hi @Syndicate_Admin ,
You can create the hierarchy manually. You can right click on the year field and select create hierarchy.
Then click on the fields you want to add to the hierarchy individually to add them to the hierarchy you just created.
If your Current Period does not refer to this, please clarify in a follow-up reply.
