Hierarchy in matrix view

Hi all,

I'm a newbie in Power BI. I have a question about the hierarchy in matrix view.

I've imported the database table (the table is in Tabular format), through Get Data > Analysis Services > Connect Live.

For the report i used the matrix visualization, inserting in the field Row the hierarchy, like this:

The result is:

now, my question is: why the "Assets" is shown many times, instead of one times (next figure)?

    Hi Giova 

     

    I just tested it in my side and it works well in my side if they're based on the same category:

    I think there probably something wrong with your hierarchy set.

      Hi,

      Thanks for the answer.

       

      Is possible that the problem is the version of Power BI?

      Because if this does not influence the behaviour, the hierarchy it's wrong.

      I'm using Power BI Desktop May 2019 version, to pubblish the report in Report Server.

        Would you mind updating your desktop to Sept version and try again?
