Hierarchy ~Chart Visual (Akvelon) - same id, multiple parents?

Hi -

 

Does anybody know if there is a way , using the Akvelon Hierarchy Chare visual to represent relationships where an element can belong to more than one parent?

 

I can get the visual to show this simple relationship hieraerchy...

 

IdParentLevel
Service Group A Top
Service AService Group AService level 1
Service BService Group AService level 1
Service CService Group AService level 1
Service DService CService level 2

 

but when I introduce a new row, I get an error message "items have the same id"

IdParentLevel
Service Group A Top
Service AService Group AService level 1
Service BService Group AService level 1
Service CService Group AService level 1
Service DService CService level 2
Service DService BService level 2

 

Is there an alternative visual I can use to achieve this, or can I do something to get this working the Akvelon Hiercharchy Chart?

    It seems the two tables are not your original data?

    Could you share some example data for me to analyze?

      Hi,

       

      I have created and 2 example pbix's to demonstrate.

      In my data its possible to have the same service under different parents as well as under other services.

      Can this be represented in Arkvelon Hierarchy Chart?
