Hide the first row in a table

Hello,

Anyone knows a trick, is there a way to only show the rows where there is the row header?  I would like to hide the first row in the entire table, in blue circle but still need it for the calculation in red circle. The filter for "country" "blank" on right side, automatically removes values, that's not a solution for me.

  • Try

    Value Measure =
    IF (
        NOT ISINSCOPE ( 'Table'[Country] )
            || NOT ISBLANK ( SELECTEDVALUE ( 'Table'[Country] ) ),
        SUM ( 'Table'[Column] )
    )

    That should only show the value either when it is the total row or the country name isn't blank.

      Hello johnt75,

      What you mean by  'Table'[Column] ?

        Whatever value you're trying to show. It could be any calculation, sum, average etc or something more complicated. If you already have a measure defined for it you could simply wrap the existing definition inside the IF statement.

    Hi, Anonymous

    Johnt75 describes it as follows. I will make additions.

    I create a sample table:

    Here you are going to go to PowerQuery to check if your null value is really null. If it is displayed as a "null" value on the right side of PowerQuery, it means that it is a null value. If null is not displayed as "null", then it is an "blank" text value, which cannot be detected by using null value detection

    Then use johnt75's measure

    Here is my preview:
