Hide grand totals in matrix export

I want to export my matrix as it looks:

zahin_maisa_1-1747404938865.png

  • The '% Matched' column is actually the column subtotals.
  • The matrix values are given by the following measure:
% Match =
 IF(
    HASONEFILTER(REP_ARC_TO_SOS_DETAIL[_SalesOption]),
    FORMAT(COUNT(REP_ARC_TO_SOS_DETAIL[ContainsCode]), "0%"),
    FORMAT(COUNT(REP_ARC_TO_SOS_DETAIL[_SalesOption])/[SelectedSalesOptions],"0%")
 )

But it exports like this:

Can I disable the grand totals in the export?

Hi @Anonymous
The export layout of a matrix in Power BI mirrors how it is displayed in the report.
If the row grand total is visible in the matrix, it will also appear in the export.
To exclude the grand total from the exported matrix, you simply need to turn off the row grand total in the matrix’s formatting settings.

As long as it's shown in the visual, it will be included in the export as well.

The grand totals are not displayed in my visual, but display in the export.

There is no option to turn the grand totals on/off - only format them. They also do not display on my matrix.

Hi  @Anonymous ,
Thank you for the follow up question !
If you're using an older version of Power BI Desktop, the option to disable grand totals might not be available.

hi @Anonymous ,

As far as I know , there is no way to turn this off on the export.  The export function does not give us the ability to select what parts come in the export.  There are a few ideas out there in the ideas forum for modifying this behaviour.  Please vote for one there or create your own!
