Hello,
Is it possible to hide certain columns in the Table/UI itself, but make those hidden columns show up when users export the table?
Hi @unicorns , @lbendlin ,
One report that I have built, allows the user to select which columns they wish to see in the report. This includes an email icon instead of the mailto: address. This simplifies the visual.
The next step would be to instruct the user to select all the columns before exporting. When my table is exported the actual mailto: shows in the csv file. I build this table using the new field parameters. Google that for a varied lot of you tube videos.
One more thing that I have done in the past is to change the font color to white (if your table bacground color is white) and thus the column does not show.
Good Luck!
Let me know if you have any questions.
If this solves your issues, please mark it as the solution, so that others can find it easily. Kudos 👍are nice too.
