Hide column header on table

Hi,

Is it possible to hide or remove the column header on a table. Not all of them, just specific ones.

Thanks,

Tom

The point is to not create hacks. All the solutions suggested here are work arounds.  Not solutions.

We want an easy solution to display a single field or some flexibility.

@tomgramling ,

What is your point ?

Do you wanna hide it on a visual or just table view ?

If table view, just go to the column and right click, select hide.
