Hi there!
I am very new to Power BI. I have built a report by using a SQL query and it looks like this:
I don't want the visitid column to be visible, but I do want to sort by that column. Sorting by the Visit column is not acceptable. Is there any way to achieve this?
Thank you in advance!

@mvi ,
So apply my second approach, which is setting Sorting column to white color. Go to Field Formatting property of that table visual and select Sorting Column name from drop down then Set Font Color to White and also click on Apply to header. (see the attached screen shot)
To clarify, the Sort by Column is working, but I just don't want to display that column, visitid, to the user. But that is exactly the column I want to sort by. Hope this sheds a little more light now.
Of sort by column is working well so no worries at all just remove the column from that table visual. It won't affect the sorting order.
"just remove the column from that table visual"
How do I do that?
@mvi ,
Just click on the cross sign as per below screen shot.
I did that and it lost the sorting. I need the "CO01_Remote" row to the the first one in the list. Any other ideas?

I first recommend you to use the "Sort by Column" Feature. I don't know why this is not working for you.
Else, just set the color of the Visited column to white to make invisible by formatting option of that table visual.
@mvi , check if you can make visit id sort column for visit
