Hide Value Columns of a Matrix until First Column is expanded.
Good Afternoon All,
While I have my Matix expanded, it shows important values for each of the parts associated witht he bill of materials associated with each material. Letting us know if the part is in stock and the BOM can be worked.
But when the Matrix is collapsed, the values could be missleading because they are the sum of all the materials drilled down.
Is there a way to Hide the value columns while the matrix is collapsed? and Only show once it has been expanded to the relavant data?

Hi, DavidMidkiff
According to your description, you want to "hide the sepecial columns when the first row is expanded".
For your needs, it is currently not possible to set in Matrix in Power BI, and all data under this level is displayed when drilling down, and cannot be configured separately.
For your needs, I think you can try using the bookmark combined button function, when the button is clicked, the display jumps to the corresponding visual without columns. When you click again, jump to the visual that is not expanded to implement your needs.

Or if you want to see one catrgory , you can also try to use "Drill through" features, for more information, you can refer to :
