Hide Cross-Report Pages

Hi All

Is it possible to hide a Cross-Report Target page, such that it only appears when selecting the Drill-through option in the source page visual?

      Hi amit

Sorry, I don't understand.  Are you saying to Hide all pages, including the Source of the Cross-Report page(s).

    Hi Anonymous ,

May I ask why you need to hide the cross-report pages? Is it for security reasons or other considerations? Could you please share your requirements in detail so that you may be able to provide a workaround or an alternative solution? Please review the following link and check whether its solution can help you.

    Hide reports in workspace

Because adding people to workspace is to show all the information involved. You can only hide report pages:  https://www.cloudfronts.com/hide-report-page-power-bi-report/

You can make it not include the report in the App, and share the app to the users. The other way is create RLS, not letting users to see the content of the report.

Anyway, it is not possible to remove the report name from the report list in the workspace.

    Best Regards

      Hi Yingyinr

      Thank you for your response.

I have 11 target cross-report pages, eminating from the one cross-report source page.

I would like these to be hidden, partly for aesthetic reasons, so that there are only 2 visible pages to the user.  Similar to a Tooltip that only shows when hovering over the relevant visual and the actual Tooltip page is not visible to the user.

I don't want the user to click into the target pages unless selected via the source cross-report, as the filtering of the target page will not necessarily be the filtering required by the user.

I hope this answers your query.

Two year old problem but maybe this helps anyone with similar problem

One way to work around is to create a separate control (or admin) audience where the cross reports are visible while hiding it from all the user audiences. this way the cross report is still available while invisible to most except a few that can are part of the Control audience.

It at least owrked for me...
